Jordan Red Release New Single and Lyric Video Freak Show
British hard rock group, Jordan Red have released their fifth single ‘Freak Show’.
‘Freak Show’ is a song about taking a stand against the toxic cycle of bullying and abuse caused by cancel culture.
Jordan Red say: “We are sick of the endless media circus turning every day into another Freak Show. Sick of the relentless 24 hour news cycles. Sick of being dominated by false idols playing god with how we live our lives. Sick of the control freaks that want to shut you down, shut you out and shut you up. It’s time to stand up and call it out.”
The new single is mixed and mastered by Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine, Don Broco) and is accompanied by a lyric video produced by 12 Inch Media (Alter Bridge, Five Finger Death Punch, Nothing More).
‘Freak Show’ is the fifth single from their upcoming album, ‘Hands That Built The World’. Since the release of their first single (‘Beautiful Monsters’) in February 2020, Jordan Red have accumulated 140,000 Spotify streams and 230,000 YouTube views. The three subsequent singles, ‘Don’t Let The Heavens Fall’, ‘Hands That Built The World’, and ‘Way Down’ have gained coverage on Kerrang! Radio, Planet Rock, Loudwire, and TotalRock, with the latest single ending up on Amazon Music’s Best New Bands playlist at the end of 2020.
‘Freak Show’ was recorded at Long Wave Studios in Cardiff and features frontman Dan Leigh and guitarist Dan Baker, as well as Conor O’Keefe and Dave Fee of As Lions (Eleven Seven Music). Jordan Red set up base in London, and developed a powerful, anthemic sound with an emphasis on big riffs and even bigger choruses.
