Jordan Red to release new single, 'Don't Let The Heavens Fall'
Jordan Red are releasing their brand new single ‘Don’t Let The Heavens Fall’ on 15 May 2020, mixed and mastered by Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine & Don Broco), and accompanied with illustrative artwork by Elisa Schillaci (Alter Bridge & A Perfect Circle).
‘Don’t Let The Heavens Fall’ is written as a warning that “those who cannot learn from the past are condemned to repeat it”. It rejects modernist nihilism whilst shining a light on the corruption, greed and malice of subversive forces working to tear down civilisation as we know it; a call to action for the individual to rise up and overcome the inertia of a creeping totalitarian state and fight for a future worth living.
Featuring frontman Dan Leigh (New Device) and guitarist Dan Baker (LiA – Life Imitates Art), as well as Conor O’Keefe and Dave Fee of As Lions (Eleven Seven Music) in the recordings, Jordan Red fuse the melodic elements of 21st-century rock and alternative metal with the aggressive high energy pulse of modern punk.
The duo set up base in London, and developed a powerful, anthemic sound with an emphasis on big riffs and even bigger choruses. This new single is a run up to their debut album, ‘Hands That Built The World’, releasing in the fall of 2020.
Jordan Red’s explosive debut single ‘Beautiful Monsters’ (as featured in Heavy Magazine, TotalRock & MetalTalk) was released in February 2020, garnering over 2,500 monthly listeners on Spotify and featuring on rock and metal workout playlists with over 60,000 followers in total.
