Alternative rock group, Jordan Red, releases their sixth single 'Spilling My Blood' on 25th February 2022.
The single is mixed, mastered and produced by Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine, Holding Absence) and features artwork by renowned photographer and digital artist, Nathersonn (Five Finger Death Punch, Tommy Vext, Black Stone Cherry).
'Spilling My Blood' is an anthem for everyone that refuses to give up in life. Nathersonn's artwork features a shattered red pill torn in two. This image reflects the idea that our eyes are open to the world as reality descends into chaos.
"It's about no longer being able to escape the feeling that your whole life is being torn apart as everything you worked for is systematically destroyed and taken away. When your backs against the wall you have two choices; you can either lay down and die, or stand up and fight. This is for those that choose to fight." - Jordan Red
This new single is the sixth from their upcoming album, 'Hands That Built The World'. Since the release of their first single ('Beautiful Monsters') in February 2020, Jordan Red have accumulated over 300,000 Spotify streams and 250,000 YouTube views. The four subsequent singles, 'Don't Let The Heavens Fall', 'Hands That Built The World', 'Way Down' and 'Freak Show' have gained coverage on Kerrang! Radio, Planet Rock, Loudwire, and Totalock, with 'Way Down' ending up on Amazon Music's Best New Bands playlist at the end of 2020.
'Spilling My Blood' was recorded at Long Wave Studios in Cardiff and features frontman Daniel Leigh and guitarist Dan Baker, as well as Dave Fee of As Lions. Jordan Red set up base in London, and developed a powerful, anthemic sound with an emphasis on big riffs and even bigger choruses.
Their debut album, 'Hands That Built The World', is due for release in 2022. For more information, visit https://www.jordan-red.com
